Assist in managing client's Ethics & Compliance program including responsibility to provide support on a broad range of legal and ethics & compliance matters across all businesses and corporate functions, including anti-bribery and anti-corruption, anti-trust, and human rights. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years of ethics and compliance program experience in in-house legal or compliance department.
• Provide support on range of legal and compliance matters across all of client's businesses and corporate functions, including anti-bribery and anti-corruption.
• Develop, update, implement, and communicate on compliance-related policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular compliance-related risk assessments and develop and implement action plans.
• Help continuously develop, monitor and assess the anti-bribery and anti-corruption program.
• Lead the global, Ethics Ambassador Program including general support, training, and communications.
• Use data analytics to identify emerging issues and trends; help with process improvements and training initiatives.
• Develop presentations and other updates to senior leadership.
• Develop, update, and conduct live and online training.
• Work closely with all business functions and senior management. Actively assist company in achieving business objectives Demonstrate strategic value and competence in applying legal skills to daily in-house corporate, business, compliance, litigation, and other matters.
• Identify areas of company risk and make proposals for and lead implementation of mitigation strategies.
Not looking for a lawyer with no in-house experience. This role is benefitted by a legal background, but is more focused on risk assessment and corresponding operational controls/mitigations, development of training materials and communications. A non-lawyer with the right experience is acceptable.
3 MUST HAVE SKILLS:
1.) Compliance program experience in area of Anti-bribery/Anti-corruption (ABAC), specifically in performing risk assessments and recommending best practices for mitigating risks.
2.) Development of Ethics & Compliance program training materials and related communications, including development of training materials and resources for managers to drive ethical behaviors with their direct reports and throughout the organization.
3.) Third-party (vendor) compliance screening, including reviewing screening results from screening tool and assessing risk level. Experience in developing standard operating procedures regarding the same a plus.
