Target Pay Rate: 25-35.71/hr **salary will be commensurate with experience

Job Description:

Supports the CI-LIB team’s ability to deliver library resources to employees worldwide, by supporting the acquisition of content and fiscal management of the portfolio.  Acts as a library expert to guide employees to resources, and supports their information needs.  
Responsibilities % of Time Support administrative management of the library, including contracts, invoices, payments, vendor relations 40 Support budgetary responsibilities, including financial tracking, cross-charging, regional invoicing 35 Support the library team via searching, training, marketing, access, etc. 25

Skills
Experience ·        Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry
·        Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a library function or equivalent   Competencies ·        Excellent organizational skills; must be detail-oriented
·        Experience working in a multicultural, multidisciplinary global environment
·        Ability to work at a high level in matrixed environment with many cross-functional partners
·        Capability to interact and effectively communicate with all levels within the organization
·        Experience searching skills in different platforms, such as PubMed, OVID, Cortellis, Citeline, etc.
·        PC literate including Word, PowerPoint, Excel
·        Technology literate including Zoom, MS Teams
·        Willingness to learn and grow
 
·        Working remotely 100% with occasional on-site meetings in Basking Ridge, NJ as needed  
*Ideal candidate would be a library student in an MLIS program or very early in their career.

Education
Education Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Science or comparable experience required
Master’s Degree in Library / Information Science or a Life Science preferred
