Job Description


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules, design stage reviews and prepares status reports.
  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • RTE role (Release Train Engineer)

 

Top 3 technical  skills that are required for the role:
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:  
  • Experience with Microsoft suite of tools (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc.)
  • SAFe SPC certified
  • Experience leading diverse and complex projects and programs
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration (MBA)
  • Independent thinker with the ability to take both a commercial and operational view of complex situations
  • Ability to solve highly complex problems across multiple business functions
  • Experience with ProChain, JIRA, JAMA  or PDware
  • Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP)

 

 
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • 3-5 years experience leading project, SAFe expertise
  • Experience supporting, coordinating and / or leading projects
  • Remediation experience (DHF, Regulatory compliance, e.g., EU MDR, UKCA)
  • Experience in development of new or existing medical devices
  • Knowledge of industry standards (ISO 13485) and regulations, specifically EU MDR and UKCA

 

Nice to Have
  • Agile SAFe Certification
  • Experience in RTE role
  • Project Management, Engineering, or Technical Service experience 
  • Experience with medical devices, aerospace, imaging technology or other highly technical regulated disciplines
