    1. Demonstrated capability/understanding of the design and development of medical devices including electro-mechanical assemblies, mechanisms, metal and plastic components, and manufacturing processes.
    2. Leverage solid electrical engineering fundamentals to document clear justification of recommendations and support critical technical decisions.
    3. Create and implement product test plans/protocols, coordinate/execute testing, and generate test reports to ensure product design changes meet specifications, comply with regulations and quality system requirements.
  1. Can you please confirm the 3 main responsibilities/day to day activities required for this role? 
    1. Lead released product engineering teams through design, planning, developing, testing and analysis during product change implementation to drive improved product performance, reliability, and manufacturability, reduce cost, and / or ensure supply continuity.
    2. Partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, CM/OEM, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and other key functions to achieve business goals.
    3. Coordinate and prioritize Engineering activities and deliverables to meet project goals and timelines and identify and mitigate project risks.
    4. Identify and act on opportunities to implement best practices in projects and processes.

  3. What is your target years of experience?
    1. Degree in Electrical Engineering, with one or more of the following:
  1. AS with 15 years of relevant experience
  2. BS with 8 years relevant experience
  3. MS with 6 years relevant experience
  4. PhD with 3 years relevant experience
  5.  




Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects from design to implementation while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education (typically University).

Implements solutions to problems.

Leadership and Talent Management: Typically provides guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area. Typically manages major / moderately complex projects, involving delegation of work and review of work products, at times acting as a team leader.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have broad knowledge of project management. Requires a University Degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
