Join a dynamic team at the forefront of surgical robotics innovation. As a Technician II, Service Operations within Global Robotics Service & Support (GRSS), you will play a crucial role in supporting service operations that directly impact patient outcomes. Come for a job, stay for a career.

A Day in the Life
This position will have two distinct phases:

Phase 1 (Approx. 4 Months): Crating & Uncrating Large Capital Equipment
  • Safely crate and uncrate large surgical robotic systems and components within a warehouse environment.
  • Use pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and use provided PPE.
  • Physically handle equipment and parts, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing or working on your feet for extended periods.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team under the supervision of the Distribution Supervisor.

Phase 2: Pre-Delivery Inspection or Disposition Support
  • Perform standardized, written pre-delivery inspection and testing of surgical robotic systems.
  • Utilize computers and software for inspection processes (proficiency in SAP and Excel required).
  • Support the disposition of inventory, including transacting items in SAP for scrapping, return to vendor, or internal use.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow established protocols.
  • Receive comprehensive training, including a two-week, hands-on program for inspection responsibilities.

Other Responsibilities May Include:
  • Assisting with return inventory movements, triage, and preparation for failure analysis.
  • Supporting lab activities and other duties as assigned.

Must Have: Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; vocational or technical education/certification is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with capital medical devices or surgical robotics.
  • Experience operating pallet jacks
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP system.

Physical Job Requirements
  • Work is performed primarily in a warehouse setting.
  • Regular lifting and movement of large equipment.
  • Standing and/or walking for most of the workday.
  • Use of PPE as required.
