Job Description


This job is Boston, MA based and will require person to be in office 3 days a week on average. This role will require extensive regional and national travel.   This highly visible and critical role will report to the Senior Director, Commercial Field Training and Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deliver and evaluate training programs, curricula, and corresponding training materials for commercial field teams (Sales, Regional Account Directors, Field Reimbursement Managers, Market Development Directors)

  • Develop new hire and ongoing training content to ensure disease state and product knowledge of field teams for existing as well as future product candidates

  • Continually improve field training, meetings, and processes related to execution of field training

  • Proactively conduct on-going communications with field leaders and other key stakeholders to identify training needs and develop specific training interventions to address those needs

  • Manage the identification and selection of vendors as well as manage existing relationships and projects relating to field training

  • Attend appropriate training classes to maintain an advanced level of knowledge



Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 + years of specialty pharmaceutical/biotechnology sales experience

  • 3+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical/device sales training

  • 3+ years of experience leading direct reports

  • Building & executing launch training programs

  • Experience in utilizing technology to engage field groups

  • Experience with the call points in Neurology

  • Proven ability to create, develop & lead projects

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Team player able to develop rapport and credibility with key stakeholders

  • Experience with Veeva Vault

  • Proficient utilizing the suite of Microsoft applications
