Job Description

  • Brand new hire off the back of Quibim’s series A financing in Jan 25 – they are now looking to scale/commercialize in UK/EU
  • BD/Account Management expertise required – in radiology/and/or medical imaging
  • OEM Medical products background would be ideal also – Philips, Medtronic, Danaher etc
  • Can be based anywhere in England – fully remote, companies UK HQ’s are in Cambridge
  • 5+ yrs of proven BD experience minimum
  • Very important that they have built relationships with key decision makers/stakeholders within the NHS – regarding new Imaging Technologies
  • Ideal salary – 70,000 – 90,000 including a car allowance (will have to take as cash) + bonus/commission scheme (getting more details on this) and other benefits

Business Development Manager, UK

BD Manager in the UK will lead our commercial operations in the region, attending the best medical conferences and growing Quibim’s business from scratch with hospitals by generating new leads, owning and managing key accounts, and contributing to the go-to-market strategy of the company.

Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, you’ll be part of the global sales team. The position also requires in-depth, consistent cross-team collaborations within Quibim including our Customer Success, Legal, Product, Finance, and Marketing.
The challenge:
 
  • Lead and execute a successful business development and sales strategy for significant revenue growth and market share expansion in the UK.
  • Lead the business development activities for new imaging AI technologies with senior physicians at the best hospitals and imaging centers in the UK.
  • Serve as the first point of contact with new potential clients for novel imaging products and services.
  • Attend to medical conferences in the UK and abroad, conducting new customer outreach to prominent radiologists and clinicians.

You will be our ideal candidate if you have:
 
  • 5+ years' of experience of commercial / solution sales experience to the medical field, with significant achievements and a relevant network in the UK. Proven sales success in closing high-value contracts in the medical field.
  • Experience in working with NHS stakeholders, particularly in the context of new technologies.
  • Knowledge of the radiology and medical imaging market.
  • Excellent communication skills, including strengths in running effective sales, business, and internal meetings, preparing and delivering professional pitches, and complex negotiations.
  • Proficiency in knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Availability to attend conferences and meetings in the UK and abroad, regularly.

  • High adaptability, with the capacity to embrace the unknown and thrive in an environment where work requirements, constraints, and expectations are ever-evolving.
