Job Description
Target PR Range: 26-36/hr

Job description:
The position is for an on-site role. The candidate will work towards characterizing the API and excipients using thermal, spectroscopic, and imaging techniques. The candidate will also screen and develop amorphous formulations and assess their performance.
The ideal candidate will be self-driven, organized, detail oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills. Good oral and written communication skills along with the ability to work independently as well as in teams/collaborative environment is required.
Skills
Use of instruments including HPLC, thermal analyses (DSC/TGA), PLM, pH meter, UV/VIS and dissolution systems is preferred. Good lab skills in wet/analytical chemistry, basic data analysis. The candidate will be required to present and discuss the findings with others in the department.
Background/education
Physical chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical engineering. For Chemist II, 3-5 years of experience with BS or master’s degree. Candidates with 5+ years of experience may be considered for Chemist III role.
