Job Description
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Clinical Data Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise to evaluate and validate medical data sources, ensuring clinical accuracy. You will collaborate with engineering and design teams, focusing on data quality and identifying gaps in content coverage. Your role will be crucial in shaping data that will inform the development of innovative health solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate and validate data sources, including medical websites, literature, reference materials, and books to ensure clinical accuracy.
- Identify and define topics that are not currently covered to enhance data comprehensiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and design, to integrate clinically accurate data into solutions.
- Provide critical insights and recommendations based on clinical expertise to guide data annotation and utilization.
- Keep abreast of current medical knowledge across a broad range of topics relevant to internal medicine, pediatrics, and similar fields.
- Conduct basic data analysis to support clinical insights and decision-making.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of clinical experience in a broad field such as internal medicine, pediatrics, or family medicine.
- Demonstrated ability to review and synthesize medical literature and reference materials.
- Comfort with basic data analysis and the ability to glean insights from data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex clinical information clearly to non-medical team members.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
? Medical degree (MD, DO, MBBS, NP) or equivalent clinical experience in a related field.
? Board certification preferred, history of license to practice required
