Job Description
Target PR Range: 44-63

The primary purpose and function of this job is ensuring the successful integration of compensation programs during mergers and acquisitions. This role involves analyzing, designing, and implementing compensation strategies that align with the company's goals and pay practices and support business objectives. This role will be involved with the due diligence process; evaluating compensation elements to identify alignment opportunities and potential disparities; compensation analyses and offer recommendations; compensation program design and alignment of pay practices. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute compensation strategies for newly acquired companies or merged entities.
Potential for managing 1 to 2 junior compensation team members in future.Â
MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5 to 7, 7 to 10 years preferred
DESCRIPTION OF MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Â Â Â
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalentÂ
OTHER INFORMATION (E.G., CERTIFICATION, ETC.): Â Â Â Â
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is a plus.
Skills:
•   Proven experience in compensation management, with a focus on compensation design, M&A and integration of pay practices. Minimum of 2-3 years of M&A experience required for this role.Â
•   Strong understanding of compensation principles, job evaluation, market analysis, and incentive plan design.
•   Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
•   Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence decision-making.
•   Ability to influence and advise in a matrixed environment.
•   Prior experience managing projects and project teams; prior experience managing people a plus.
•   Ability to work with all levels of management.
•   Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to compensation.
•   Proficiency in HRIS and compensation management software.
•   Advanced Excel skills
Strong critical thinking skills required to solve complex compensation-related issues; ability to think strategically and keep the business objectives in mind while making recommendations aligned with pay policies and practices. Ability to influence at al levels of management and ability to work independently, providing guidance and expertise to HR and business colleagues.
