Computational Biologist, Research Associate - Genomics

The Opportunity:

As a Computational Biologist, you will:

  • Explore and integrate multi-omic datasets that include DNA mutation, gene expression, and copy-number.

  • Explore and analyze single-cell genomics data.

  • Aid in the interpretation of the data, particularly generating hypotheses.

  • Assist experimental design to ensure the representativity of the data generated.

  • Contribute to the development of analysis pipelines and computational tools.

  • Work closely with scientists, contract research organizations, and other collaborators to answer key questions related to our research.

  • Communicate the results of your work to internal and external stakeholders.

 Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • M.S. in bioinformatics, genomics or similar field.

  • Familiarity with differential gene expression analysis and somatic DNA mutation calling.

  • Proficiency using R and/or Python.

  • Scientific communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience with a focus on the analysis of NGS data is strongly desired.
