Job Description


Job Summary

Supports the Lead Data Manager (LDM) in executing all data management activities from study start-up to database lock, including data capture, data entry, data review and cleaning, and quality assurance. Works closely with data managers and study team staff to complete assigned tasks for planning and implementing clinical data management activities in accordance with the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP). Also provides administrative support to the Biostatistics and Data Management function.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates clinical data management documentation and study files.
  • Performs routine data review and cleaning for ongoing clinical trials.
  • Enters data recorded on paper into a Roche-approved database.
  • Follows established procedures and department standards to develop small-scale, standard databases.
  • Performs User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of clinical trial databases under the direction of LDM.
  • Performs administrative tasks to support the Biostatistics and Data Management function.
  • Performs other similar duties as assigned.

Formal Training/Education
  • Education Level: Associate's Degree (required)

Experience
  • Years of Experience: Less than 1 year (entry level)
  • A clinical trial certificate or certification (e.g., CCRP) may be substituted.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong technical acumen, including proficiency with relevant computer software packages such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of clinical research activities is helpful.
  • Ability to prioritize and efficiently manage multiple tasks and assignments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Licenses and Certifications
  • Attainable within X months as needed (details not specified).

Travel Requirements
  • Travel as needed, based on business needs.













Pay Rate Range: 20-25/hr depending on experience
