Job Description
The Director, Project Management will oversee the timeline and deliverables for key enterprise-wide programs and will manage other commercial services projects as assigned. Preferred candidate is one with extensive experience across the delivery lifecycle managing complex, technical, cross-organizational initiatives. This role will report to the Senior Director of Program and Project Management and will work directly with members of the Services & Customer Solutions team to map and track key activities that support program level deliverables. This individual will also participate in project management and process improvement initiatives as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- In collaboration with the assigned project leader, manage and operationally lead cross-functional commercial services & customer solutions projects as assigned.
- Drive all aspects of the project management process, to ensure smooth and effective functioning of teams - including defining and managing team member roles, responsibilities, conflict management and communication for the teams.
- Manage multiple work streams to support the delivery execution of key enterprise projects.
- Facilitate the cross-functional decision-making process including information flow between team members, the project leader, and senior management.
- Drive timeliness and influence decision making process without direct authority.
- Anticipate and identify issues and risks and lead the development of mitigation/contingency plans.
- Prepare and routinely review project plans with team members on a regular basis to update, provide reminders, identify critical path items, develop action plans to solve critical issues, and elevate specific concerns to senior management. Track delivery execution against plan.
- Manage dependencies and work with project leads to establish priorities.
- Facilitate working sessions, document outcomes and ensure follow-through on open items.
- Proven ability to prioritize, plan ahead, and manage a high volume of work to meet deadlines and ensure that the operation runs in an efficient and timely manner.
- Communicate project status and progress to senior management, team members, and functional heads using appropriate tools.
- Develop and implement improvements to project management processes, tools and infrastructure to ensure ongoing efficiency across the company.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- B.S. in a Life Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or Computer Science required
- M.B.A. or other advanced degree a plus
- PMP certification preferred
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience overseeing technical initiatives across the delivery lifecycle with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience project managing new product launches and coordinating launch related activities. (e.g. Launching CRM portals, developing go to market strategies, field sales launch materials and tools, etc.)
- Prior biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience a plus
- Experience working on aesthetics industry projects a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence without authority
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to “connect dots” and relay that information to the team.
- Highly adaptable and comfortable leading change
- Experience with MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint or equivalent) required.
- Experience with MS Project, Smartsheets or equivalent project management and dashboard reporting tools required.
- Organizationally savvy with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence in a dynamic environment.
- Able to lead and mentor and capable of building with and for the PMO Team.
- Able to work under pressure with sound problem-solving skills to escalate as needed and solve issues efficiently to mitigate risk.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Salary Range: $150-$180k. Salary will be commensurate with experience
