Job Description


 This role will be supporting electronic design maintenance of Class II electromechanical surgical equipment.

Top 3 technical  skills that are required for this role:
  1. Use and application of industry standards (e.g.: ISO, IEC, ASTM)
  2. Component engineering & circuit analysis (e.g., for evaluating component alternates in application)
  3. Cross-functional communication and collaboration, especially with mechanical & firmware engineering

Education Required: BS Electrical Engineering

Years’ Experience Required:  2-5 yrs

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Researches develops designs and tests electrical components equipment and systems.

Designs electrical equipment facilities components products and systems for commercial industrial and domestic purposes.

Authors and approves documents substantiating the safe and effective design of electromechanical systems. Maintains electrical components equipment and systems through lifecycle changes

TECHNICAL SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: An individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies. Formulates delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. The majority of time is spent delivering RampD systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies ndash from design to implementation - while adhering to policies using specialized knowledge and skills. Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

Requires a Baccalaureate degree or for degrees earned outside of the United States a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. sect 214.2h 4iiiA and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
