Job Description


OVERVIEW 

Provides reliability engineering support for all cell culture, purification, and processing equipment. Must be able to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize preventative maintenance & spare parts strategies. Can conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis and Failure Mode Effect Analysis to prevent future equipment failures. Provides project engineering as required for new processing equipment installations and modifications to existing equipment. Able to manage small engineering projects with little direction.

JOB DUTIES 

Troubleshooting equipment, supporting engineering/maintenance, and system improvement projects. Review equipment manuals, engineering drawings, & bill of materials to develop reliability strategies for maintaining equipment. Must be able to work collaboratively with maintenance personnel and coordinate contractor work, including equipment inspections and remediations.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Reliability, Engineering, or Maintenance experience in Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, Chemical, Food, Paper, or related industries. Needs experience working with Process Equipment & needs practical knowledge of preventative & predictive maintenance to maintain equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated technical proficiency and creativity. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

At least 4 years of industry experience.

Pay Range 50-65/hr 
Salary will be commensurate with experience
