Additional position detail from the manager below.  Please note that Medical Device experience (specifically with Class 3) is very beneficial in this role.  When screening for Program Management experience, look for technical/product related experience.  Candidates can have process/business PM experience also but understanding the technical/product parts of this role is beneficial. 

Can you please confirm your top 3 skills sets required?
  • Strong Project Management skills (fundamentals mastered, use of tools such as MS Project, ability to quickly organize and develop project plans)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Ability to understand complex issues and work with SME’s to develop quick solutions
  • Experience in Medical Device or highly regulated environment.  Familiarity with quality systems and developing project plans that ensure compliance and all deliverables are satisfied.
Can you please confirm the 3 main responsibilities/day to day activities required for this role?
  • Leading one or multiple projects in the post-market development space
  • Leading core team(s) and working through day to day issues to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Cross-functional collaboration and ensuring KPI’s and financial targets are achieved.
What products (if any) will this role support?
  • Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health Class 3 medical devices
  • Therapy SW (class 3)
  • Mobile Platform (COTS devices) that support implanted devices.
What is your target years of experience?  Minimum 5 years in actual project/program management role.  10+ preferred.
 

Leading Post-Market design change SW update geographic expansion and mobile platform HW programs. Will be leading cross-functional teams across multiple sites.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Oversees operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning project team and line management. Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Reviews status of projects and budgets and prepares status reports. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity quality and client satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers line managers and clients.

Innovation and Complexity: Proposes modifications to functional operating policies and day-to-day processes. Problems and issues faced are complex difficult and undefined and require detailed information gathering analysis and investigation to understand the problem.

Uses information exchange influence and active persuasion without direct exercise of command to gain cooperation of other parties . May interact on issues that have externally shared objectives.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes projects and tactics within one job area. Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.

Requires a University Degree and minimum of 5 years relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.
