Job Description:

Summary: This position will be responsible for remotely updating ABACUS accounts to ABACUS v3.3.x in a variety of facilities across the U.S and Canada. Updating software version includes updating order templates, bag labels and reports. Will serve as Customers primary point of contact for delivery of the software update. The products may include but are not limited to: ABACUS order entry software and EXACTAMIX Compounders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1) Manage applicable device installation across all functions for the customer. Activities may include:

Working directly with the customer to set appropriate expectations for a successful and positive customer experience.

Provide ongoing communications across both client & customer.

Provide necessary training to customers who will use the devices described above.

Resolve issues and risks which arise during installations.

Provides consultation to the customer to assist them in understanding the most effective way to install and use the device.

2) Works collaboratively with the customer and other team members to meet objectives, milestones and project timelines.

3) Adheres to all training and installation procedures to provide a consistent customer experience.

Completes installations and revisits within time requirements established by management.

Completes validation of the device per established procedures.

Documents installation and training activities in accordance to policies and procedures.

4) Maintains schedules for remote upgrades, training, shipping, & installation/implementation of medical devices

5) Performs other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

  1. Proven experience operating in clinical/pharmacy environments with varying levels of clinicians.

  2. Ability to exercise independent judgment and rely heavily on critical thinking skills.

  3. Must be able to understand and identify issues quickly and be able to predict needs and trends.

  4. Strong project leadership skills with ability to manage multiple projects, establish processes and handle competing interests.

  5. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills with ability to conduct presentations comfortably to large groups at clinical and executive level.

  6. Must have good computer skills with a working knowledge of MS Operating Systems and the MS Office Suite of Applications.

  7. A general understanding of networking and computer software is required. IT background is a plus.

Education and/or Experience:

  1. Knowledge of SQL, Windows OS and network environments preferred.

  2. Minimum 5 years relevant project leader experience

  3. Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred.

  4. Clinical/Pharmacy background preferred.

  5. Three to five years of experience installing medical products desired.
