SUMMARY:
- This is an exciting opportunity to be a critical part of the executive talent engine fueling a high-growth organization that is radically changing the biotech industry.
- Reporting to the Sr. Specialist, Executive Search Operations, this newly created position will help to manage executive candidate experience. We aim to deliver a high-touch, agile, and ultra-responsive approach to interview logistics, and provide a highly differentiated experience to executive candidates and internal business stakeholders.
- The ideal hire for this position is an exceptional written and verbal communicator, a master at prioritization and multi-tasking, has astute situational awareness, comfort around high level executives, and has a desire to grow their career in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources.
Here's What Youll Do:
- Partner with our VP of Talent Acquisition and Senior Director of Executive Search to craft and deliver an unparalleled executive candidate experience, from the candidates first phone screen, through virtual or onsite interviews (including travel, if relevant), to hire.
- Partner with senior-level executives (hiring managers, interviewers, and talent acquisition) and third party retained search firms to coordinate accurate, timely schedules for interviews, debriefs, and update meetings.
- Support recruiting for executive requisitions across all functions globally.
- Drive the interview process forward with urgency, triaging competing priorities, navigating challenging calendars, and influencing stakeholders when needed.
- Provide transparent, empathetic updates to candidates, understanding subtleties in hiring process and interpreting tone of communications.
- Go above and beyond to ensure every candidate has an exceptional on-site or virtual interview experience, through on-site triage of the candidate while visiting our offices, impeccable responsiveness, tailored communications, and remembering special details. Their candidate experience should be immensely enjoyable, even if they dont join our company!
- Build extremely strong, collaborative relationships across the business, including with Executive Assistants, and be in close communication at all times regarding candidate interviews and scheduling.
- Proactively develop strong partnerships with our HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition Operations teams.
- Create and manage candidate expenses, ensuring talent are reimbursed by Finance in a timely manner.
- Be open to high level of growth and change within the organization - where priorities may not always be clear, and nimbleness is always required.
- Continuously question convention, with an eye for progressive optimization and improvement through experimentation and iteration.
- Be bold in creating new ideas to identify, engage, attract, and assess talent
Heres What Youll Bring to the Table:
- A minimum of 3-5 years experience working in a corporate environment in a support/logistics capacity or as an executive administrative assistant.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - you are engaging, personable, and seek to build relationships daily.
- Savvy at interpreting written and verbal communications, perceptive of tone and subtle cues, and ability to translate to appropriate reaction/response.
- Demonstrated commitment to be a true talent partner to the business and executive candidates.
- Master of multi-tasking and prioritization, acting swiftly with impeccable attention to detail and enviable organizational skills.
- Ability to anticipate problems before they happen, seeking ways to continuously improve our work, and have a relentless sense of urgency.
- Ability to travel to our headquarters in Cambridge, MA or our campus in Norwood, MA when necessary to support candidate experience and interview facilitation.
- Flexibility to support interview logistics, on occasion, outside of normal business hours - early mornings or late evenings.
- A digital first mindset - quickly learning and leveraging technology platforms to drive efficiencies and process optimization.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint experience.
