Job Description:

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance and IT Implementations Project Manager to oversee non-study related projects, drive technical solution implementation, and provide essential support to the Leadership team in the US. The role involves taking charge of departmental financial management and efficient vendor coordination. As the co-pilot to the US Leadership team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring successful project management across various initiatives.
 
This position will focus on the management of technical solutions, financial tracking, and vendor management in US. Work closely with stakeholders including but not limited to finance, procurement, IT legal, compliance, QA.
 
  • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree (preferable) in related fields.
  • Certified Project Manager and or Six Sigma, Lean and similar discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience as project manager supporting business area in pharmaceutical industry with knowledge regarding drug development.
  • Firsthand experience in implementation of system, solutions using technology, solid understanding of software development life cycle.
Skills:
  • 5+ years’ industry experience as Finance/IT project manager in pharmaceutical, preferably with experience in global pharmaceutical
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the principles, concepts, methods and standards of clinical research.
  • Smartsheet experience is a plus.
  • Experience in procurement and financial tools, such as SAP needed.
  • Project management professional (PMP) certification and/or training in project management preferred but not required. Solid proficiency in program and project management methodologies
  • Finance and/or accounting background with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong knowledge and experience in financial management, Proven negotiation and facilitation skills, a team player and self-starter
  • Proven track record addressing complexity project deliverables, data analysis, summary, dashboard reporting, and implementation of technical solutions end to end as a main accountable role.
  • Ability and flexible to work remotely with worldwide team members across cultures and time zones

Requirements:
 
·       Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
·       Strong technical acumen to oversee the implementation of technical solutions.
·       Excellent financial management skills, with the ability to forecast, track, and manage project budgets effectively.
·       Exceptional vendor management capabilities to foster successful collaborations.
·       Excellent communication and leadership skills to co-pilot the US Leadership team effectively.
·       Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to overcome project challenges.
·       Be the main gate keeper for non-project initiative status tracking using tools being developed.
·       Comfortable of presentation, training others, and meeting facilitation.
·       Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
·       Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and achieving operational excellence.
·       Project Oversight: Take charge of non-study related project tracking, ensuring timelines are met, and goals are achieved efficiently.
·       Technical Solution Implementation: Lead the implementation of technical solutions, working closely with relevant teams to ensure seamless integration.
·       Financial and Vendor Management: Oversee financial aspects and vendor interactions within the US department, ensuring effective budget management and successful collaborations.
·       General Project Management Support: Provide essential support to the Leadership team, assisting them in various project management tasks and capture decision-making processes.
·       Operations Excellence: Collaborate with the head of project management and operations excellence to ensure the team's smooth operations, including meeting management, tracking development plans and timelines, managing scope, and mitigating risks.
·       Finance Forecasting and Resource Planning: Manage finance forecasts and actuals and optimize resource planning to achieve project objectives effectively.
·       Problem Solving: Proactively identify challenges and implement effective solutions to maintain project momentum and achieve desired outcomes.
·       Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders such as finance, procurement, IT, legal, compliance, and QA to ensure smooth project execution.
