Job Summary
The Planning Analyst Contractor role is accountable for assisting the Planning Manager and Sr. Planner in updating and analyzing the global forecast that represents customer consumption for finished goods and disposables for medical devices. Responsible for understanding customer consumption demand, ensuring product availability, service levels, inventory management reporting and inventory targets in a timely and cost-effective way.

Job Responsibilities
•    Support global cross-functional commercial teams to understand Region/Country demand for responsible products
•    Direct and facilitate the gathering of business intelligence with key stakeholders
•    Maintain and distribute reports on a weekly and monthly set schedule 
•    Assist with product inventory activities with operating groups to achieve consistent product availability, plan service levels, inventory targets in cost effective manner
•    Work with Global and Regional Commercial leadership teams to manage activities such as forecasting, IBP master data management, and data validations. 
•    Support critical projects and activities which may include administrative task in support of business objective
•    Act as a back-up to other Sr Planners/Manager in all key areas of responsibilities
•    Update weekly regional shipping plans

Job Requirements
•    Bachelor’s Degree preferred
•    Demand Planning, Forecasting, and Production Planning/Scheduling experience
•    High level of attention to detail, follow through and results orientation required
•    Strong sense of urgency
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to include root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions and follow-up.
•    Ability to develop and, when needed, adjust standard operating procedures (SOPs) workflow to achieve scheduling and inventory management objectives and exceed customer expectations.
•    Ability to interact effectively at multiple levels (across, up, and down) and globally
•    Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills; ability to effectively present information (formally and informally).
•    Strong computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, APO).  
•    SAP experience preferred.
•    IBP experience preferred.
•    VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Table experience preferred. 

Target pay: 20-23/hr
