Job Description

Our client is an emerging biotech in the neurodegenerative space.  The company is looking to appoint a fractional Chief Business Officer (CBO) CONSULTANT to support fundraising and business development activities. The right candidate must have deep expertise in Neuro along with an established network of relevant contacts, and a passionate approach to business strategy. 

An example of scope of work is detailed below, however the role will be subject-to-change dependent on the person appointed. 
 

  1. Fundraising Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with the executive team to formulate and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy tailored to the biotech industry and our specific focus on neurodegenerative diseases, with an emphasis on Alzheimer's.

  2. Investor Relationship Management:
    • Utilize an extensive industry network to identify and engage potential investors, building and nurturing strong relationships to secure financial support for ongoing and future projects.

  3. Business Development Initiatives:
    • Drive business development efforts, identifying strategic partnerships, collaborations, and opportunities that align with the company's mission and enhance our position in the neurodegenerative research landscape.

  4. Communication and Presentation:
    • Serve as a spokesperson for business-related matters, communicating effectively with stakeholders, investors, and potential collaborators. Develop and contribute to compelling presentations and materials to convey the company's vision, achievements, and growth potential.

  5. Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Work closely with the executive team to align business objectives with the overall organizational strategy. Provide insights, recommendations, and data-driven analyses to support informed decision-making and successful implementation of business plans.
