Inside Sales - Hemolytic Anemia Specialist (HAS)

In the U.S., the company markets a first-in-class pyruvate kinase (PK) activator for the treatment of hemolytic anemia in adults with PK deficiency. Building on the company’s leadership in the field of cellular metabolism, the company is advancing a robust clinical pipeline of investigational medicines with active and planned programs in alpha- and beta-thalassemia, sickle cell disease, pediatric PK deficiency, and MDS-associated anemia. The Impact You Will Make We are seeking individuals with a demonstrated track record of success in launching rare diseases medicines within an inside sales environment. As an Inside Sales Hemolytic Anemia Specialist (HAS), you will bring a deep understanding of rare disease commercialization and the unique business drivers within this specialized market. You will possess a "start-up" mentality and values consistent with the patient and science-focused company culture. You will be motivated by the opportunity to bring a rare disease commercialization mindset and to build your markets, laying the foundation for the success of our drug and company pipeline of transformative rare genetic disease treatments. Key Responsibilities
- As an Inside Sales Hemolytic Anemia Specialist, you will be responsible for raising awareness of Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKD) and the need for earlier differential diagnosis for patients with Hereditary Hemolytic Anemias.
- In anticipation of the initial US approval of Pyrukynd for Thalassemia, you will be responsible for raising awareness of Thalassemia across your geography.
- Work with all Zone Director to ensure alignment on objectives, strategies, and communication.
- Accelerate appointments with select accounts/HCPs to complete administrative activity and enable HAS to conduct in person interaction for HCP Profiling and HQ PUM identification
- Identify white space opportunities and triage appointments to HAS team
- Develop relationships with key customers and continue to build knowledge of the hemolytic anemia marketplace.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless field coordination and customer/patient support.
- Ensure appropriate and compliant utilization of approved corporate, promotional, and other resources to facilitate customer engagements.
- Represent the company positively and professionally ensuring your activities are compliant with laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines.
- Lead ad-hoc initiatives to contribute to the business as requested.
- Bachelor’s degree required, Scientific degree a plus.
- Proven track record of success in Rare Disease sales; Hematology/Oncology sales experience preferred.
- Experience in building disease awareness and launching first-in-class therapies.
- Demonstrated business acumen with account management skills.
- Deep clinical knowledge expertise, including diagnostics and genetics.
- Previous cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders including marketing, medical affairs, market access, patient services, and sales operations.
- Results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results.
- Strong, resourceful self-starter with an innovative mindset and ability to develop and execute new business solutions.
- Extraordinary commitment to customer experience and standards of excellence.
- Established relationships with Hematology/Oncology HCPs strongly preferred.
- Prior experience launching rare disease products strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in an additional language preferred (Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Arabic).
