Job Description


The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for sustaining and improving production on our stapling manufacturing lines. Responsibilities include cost oversight, detailed data analysis of manufacturing efficiency, process development, change management leadership, and point of contact in interfacing with various contributing organizations, such as quality, operational excellence, manufacturing, Released Product Engineering, and more.
  • Lead or support initiatives in all product manufacturing aspects: Cost reduction, quality improvement, Service/Repair, Process Improvement, Documentation.
  • Develop sound understanding of product designs and focus on ways to improve manufacturing processes as well as identify and implement cost reductions.
  • Gather and analyze manufacturing metrics and works closely with Quality organization to define appropriate process changes.
  • Use statistical techniques to compile and analyze data and realize appropriate improvement initiatives
  • Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
  • Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations

Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Years’ Experience Required: 1-3 years minimum or Master’s Degree
