Medical Outcomes Manager

Job Description
• Provide scientific and medical leadership by presenting scientific, clinical, HEOR and educational materials to national and regional payer, PBMs, IDNs and government policy stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain professional clinical relationships within the payer space that are commercial and research relevant, discuss investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and relevance to ADC
• Supports payer advisory boards and discussions with key payers on generating ideas for future product/device development, expanded reimbursement of existing products/devices, and scientific communication of medical value of current products
• Supports Market Access with medical review of communications and advises primary market access personnel regarding features, benefits and medical value of products
• Attend relevant professional conferences (diabetes related and/or payer focused). Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support staffing the Medical Affairs portion of the exhibit booth, answer off label questions regarding the use of ADC products from a clinical and scientific perspective, respond to questions regarding ADC clinical scientific data, HEOR outcomes, IIS queries, data interpretation for the CGM category.
• Responsible for supporting the development of the Dossier, Budget Impact Model and other economic models such as value based contracting evaluation tools as needed
• Drive Publications and presentations of evidence based on data and materials collected from customer insights
• Supports the generation and dissemination of health economics and outcomes research related evidence in collaboration with the global market access team
• Supports the Marketing Access team in the development of commercial non-CME webinars and program opportunities for National Payer Conferences.
• Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management
• Responsible for formulating medical information response letters for payer inquiries and Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committees
Scientific background with minimum of Master’s degree (prefer
PharmD, PhD or DNP) with proficiency in health economics/health
outcomes research.
• Minimum three years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device outcomes work
• Established relationships with regional and national payers, PBMs, and government organizations preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in either pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare or managed care organizations
• Established relationships with regional and national payers, PBMs, and government organizations preferred
• Experience giving presentations. Strong communication skills

Works on abstract problems across functional areas of the business
regionally.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Erroneous decisions will have a long-term effect on the company’s
success, goodwill and reputation. Interacts with executive level
management in regional health networks, payers, and policy
making bodies.
ANALYTICAL ABILITY:
Identifies and evaluates fundamental problems for major functional
areas through comprehensive assessment.
AUTHORITY TO ACT:
Reports directly to the Senior Medical Outcomes Manager in
Medical Affairs and will use appropriate judgment on which
situations require discussion and guidance. Strategy and diplomacy
are required because of frequent and ongoing involvement with
payers and medical professionals.
EXTERNAL CONTACTS:
Acts as primary contact for ADC with external payers on a national
basis
Pay ranges between $62-70/hr based on experience
