Target Pay Rate: 25-29.27/hr **salary will be commensurate with experience 

Job Description:


Carries out the practical work in the laboratory including method development, method validation and trouble shooting. Takes over responsibility for the QC part of projects. Perform required testing on raw materials, intermediates and finished products. Support QC chemist to provide the method technology transfer and project preparation work, make sure the project runs on time and smoothly.

Key Accountabilities:

• Testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products according to Standard Operating Procedures and Test Methods
• Records test results and maintains raw data and accurate laboratory records
• Maintain lab assets in accordance with written procedures and schedules as required by cGMP, GLP and ISO 9001 when applicable
• May write and revise Standard Operating Procedures
• Approve or reject finished product samples
• General lab support including housekeeping, equipment maintenance, inventory of supplies, etc.
• Evaluate existing analytical methods and develop new methods when appropriate
• Established employee, working with little or without supervision.
• Supports projects from QC side in production or pilot scale facilities.
• Method transfer, validation experiment;
• Train the lab analyst for the methods
• Do the preparation work of project;
• Assistant project chemist on the OOS investigation;
• Provide technical support and answers during the analysis of production sample;
• Attend in the lab instrument management;
• Follow safety protocols; ensure personal safety in the working area.
• Performs other laboratory support tasks as requested.
• Adhere to all defined Safety and Sustainability requirements and expectations and seek clarification whenever Safety and Sustainability requirements and expectations are either unknown or unclear
• Promptly report identified Safety and Sustainability issues, problems, deficiencies, errors, incidents, and/or opportunities to management and correct where possible
• Stop work where deemed necessary to maintain safety

Minimum Education Level Required: Bachelors Degree
Minimum Years Required Experience: 5
