Job Description


In this dynamic role as a PD Project Management Specialist, you will have responsibility for will overseeing the operational aspects of ongoing projects while supporting the direction of the Program Manager. You will leverage a cross-functional team to launch new versions of released products to meet EU MDR regulatory requirements. We are looking for a team member that is detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and a confident and effective communicator.

 

A Day in the Life
  • Leads weekly, cross-functional core team meetings to track project task execution: prepares agenda, facilitates discussion, takes and distributes meeting minutes.
  • Monitors known risks and escalates both technical and logistical roadblocks.
  • Facilitates working sessions among core team members.
  • Manages established project schedules and maintains accurate metrics for project scorecards.
  • Organizes documentation updates to Design History File (DHF) and executes associated change control in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
  • Tracks open Purchase Orders and provides inputs to budget forecasting.
  • Executes administrative tasks as assigned.

 

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of project management, engineering/science, regulatory/quality experience in medical devices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools, including MS Project

Nice to Have: Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience
  • Proficient in Critical Chain software (e.g., MS Project add-in, ProChain), BI Dashboard programming, operational management software (e.g., SAP), Quality Management Software (e.g., Agile)
  • PMP Certification, Green Belt Lean/Six Sigma Certification
