Job Description

Summary:
The candidate will be required to work in warehouse areas, refrigerated areas, and in freezers with temperatures of -30c or colder. This job requires the candidate to continually handle and move boxes and pallets both manually and with handling equipment. The candidate will be expected to follow established departmental procedures when performing tasks and duties.

Primary responsibilities for the role:
  • Offloading boxes from a pallet onto a conveyor and taking boxes from a conveyor onto a pallet.
  • Able to lift 25 to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures of -30c or colder.
  • Ability to follow written procedures.
  • Ability to use barcode readers.
  • Capable of performing basic computer skills
  • Responsible for department housekeeping
  • Ability to receive and separate incoming plasma.
  • Ability to identify and separate special plasma.
  • Ability to pull freezer work orders and alerts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify rejected plasma.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
  • Must be able to multitask in a warehouse environment.
  • Possess good organizational skills.
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
  • 1 - 2 years Knowledge of GMP preferred
  • Warehouse experience and/or lift truck certification preferred
  • Two shifts available (please indicate preference): 1st shift, 5am – 130pm (Monday – Friday) 2nd shift, 130pm – 12am (Monday – Thursday)


Pay Rate: $19/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience
