Job Description

Job purpose

Plan, implement, and analyze cardiac diagnostics workflows.  Such workflows include ECG analysis algorithms and human expert review to provide accurate reporting and efficient operations.  

Duties and responsibilities •    Apply signal processing and machine learning techniques to develop algorithms that detect ectopy and abnormal heart rhythms from ECG data.
•    Design efficient workflows for human experts to ensure high quality diagnostic results.
•    Collaborate with teams of Physicians, Marketing professionals, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Machine Learning Specialists, to understand needs, define requirements, and develop complete, fieldable solutions.
•    Keep abreast of pertinent signal processing / machine learning research.
•    Act as technical advisor to others in the R&D organization.
•    Promote development processes, tools, and best practices with the R&D organization.
Qualifications •    B.S. Degree, or equivalent industry experience, in computer engineering / computer science or related field with an emphasis on digital signal processing or pattern recognition / machine learning.   M.S. or Ph.D. degree preferred. 
•    Typically, 10+ years of practical research / development experience.  
•    3+ years of practical experience developing algorithms for ECG from wearable diagnostic devices (Holter, Extended Holter, Cardiac Event Monitoring, Mobile Cardiac Telemetry).
•    Cardiac diagnostics industry knowledge / experience.
•    Knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology.
•    Proficiency with object-oriented and scripting languages, preferably Python. 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
•    Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate team members across functions.
•    Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities.
•    Experience with mentoring junior engineers.

Pay Rate Range: $150-300k. Salary will be commensurate with experience
