Job Description
We are seeking high caliber, innovative students who have an interest in the healthcare industry to join our Neuromodulation Systems Engineering R&D Team. Co-ops obtain technical, leadership and professional development skills that allow them to build successful careers in STEM.
Your experience(s), education, and knowledge:
- Eligible students must be currently enrolled in the school year of the assignment and the semester following their assignment.
- Candidates must be currently enrolled at an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering program
- Studying Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science degrees.
- GPA of 3.0 or greater
- Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Candidate must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the 6-month Co-op session
- Students must be able to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
- Rising juniors, seniors or graduate students preferred.
- Take an active role in Neuro’s digital transformation via synthesizing large amounts of data, collaborating with internal engineers, developing a plan and executing data migration (this may include writing code and macros in the ALM tool, and validating the data transfer)
- Conduct system testing and provide data, results analysis, and reports to the project team in a timeline driven process.
- Create, execute, and monitor system automation tests.
- Synthesize large amounts of information to drive understanding for internal team members. Examples include analyzing user research, auditing the competitive landscape, crafting research into compelling presentations.
- Exercise technical judgment in the design, execution and interpretation of experiments, and use professional concepts to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways.
- Provide project or product support as needed to support business and R&D objectives.
