Job Description


Duties:
  • Performs microbiological methods for environmental and utility monitoring within classified environments.
  • Initiates, executes, and completes monitoring per validated procedures and quality/compliance guidelines.
  • Communicates timely with supervisors regarding testing, compliance, and scheduling issues.
  • Adheres to company policies and maintains a safe work environment through site safety KPIs.
  • Exemplifies Lead principles and follows appropriate GMP documentation.

Skills:
  • Knowledge of basic scientific principles and techniques.
  • Performs work following applicable methods and procedures with moderate supervision.
  • Good understanding of operations in the immediate area and basic regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to effectively communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Documents results and data clearly and accurately.
  • Effectively interacts with co-workers and others as needed, demonstrating teamwork within and across groups.
  • Proficient in aseptic technique.

Education:
  • BS degree from an accredited institution in a relevant scientific discipline required; or AA degree from an accredited institution plus four (4) years of relevant experience; or eight (8) years of relevant experience.
