Job Description
The QC Specialist will be working with a cross functional team to ensure material are adequately qualified.
Key Responsibilities include:
Working with cross-functional team, identify and justify testing requirements for raw material, consumables and support materials.
Identify and establish appropriate external GMP laboratories for material testing as needed.
Coordinate procurement, validation, and sample submission of raw materials
Coordinate testing at external laboratories.
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of raw material qualification activities.
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant regulatory requirements.
Review documentation related to raw materials, such as Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in raw material testing and qualification or equivalent education and experience is preferred
Knowledge:
Good understanding of GMP and relevant regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of raw material testing and analysis techniques.
Familiarity with quality management systems.
Skills:
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
Pay ranges between $36-41/hr based on experience
