Job Description
The Opportunity:
Pay rate range: $40-50/hr
As a key member of our dynamic Program, Portfolio, and Alliance Management team, reporting to the manager of R&D Business Operations, you will:

Work with project and functional leads to directly manage the implementation of preclinical studies including:
-
Compound shipment(s).

Issuing PO’s.
-
Assigning internal study numbers.
-
Tracking study progress.
-

Assist in maintaining trackable internal inventory for key research and development studies including protocols, key data, and reports.

Assist in managing and tracking studies or activities at CROs, and liaise with different functions and project teams
-
Assisting in the execution of agreements with CROs including quotes, statements of work, work orders, etc. across teams.

Schedule sub-team meetings as needed, manage meeting agendas, minutes, and track action items.

Support development and maintenance of master plans and project schedules/ Gantts and/or critical sub-team plans (pre-clinical and non-clinical studies).

Assist other members of the R&D Business Operations team in the selection of tools and development of processes that achieve reduced bureaucracy and help R&D operate more effectively and efficiently across departments and teams.

Support implementation of strategies to enhance efficiencies from study execution through to data analysis and archival.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or other related scientific disciplines). MSc is a plus.

1-3 years of experience in a technical research/early development stage role and a minimum of 2 years experience in an operations, project coordination, project management role, or equivalent expertise in coordinating projects to completion is preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact daily with diverse cross-functional internal and external stakeholders are essential.

Innovative, proactive, and collaborative team player with high energy to keep pace with our growing and evolving company environment.

Must have excellent organizational skills, detail-minded, results-oriented, and driven to complete projects on time with high quality.

Must be a self-starter and able to function independently in a fluid environment under tight timelines.

Advanced capability with MS Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project), and experience with collaboration platforms (Smartsheet) is desired.
