Job Description:
The Global Digital Learning Manager is an experienced and creative Learning & Development professional who will help design and deliver learning solutions to advance our Global R&D workforce's knowledge, skills, and abilities. This role will collaborate with SMEs, Functions and Project Leaders across R&D in support of development of Global Clinical Trial capabilities. The Global Digital Learning Manager role will be fully involved in scoping, creating, and maintaining learning programs and events. Your dynamic and engaging training creations will serve our new and existing employees and the development of our leaders. To support these audiences, we will leverage varied content and methodologies such as advanced certification programs, classroom-style training, virtual instructor-led delivery, e-learnings, self-paced learning, role plays, skills drills, simulations, podcasts, and job aids.
Duties:
- Advanced knowledge in educational technology tools and systems
- Experience with software applications such as Photoshop, Premiere, Captivate, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Articulate and RISE.
- Create interactive, engaging, scalable sessions incorporating facilitator guides, PowerPoint presentations, and job aids using rapid prototyping, SAM, ADDIE, and agile development approaches.
- Develop and implement consistent operational protocols for learning innovation through technology, ensuring clarity, compliance, and seamless execution across all cross-functional partners.
- Collaborate with Leaders, SMEs, graphic designers, consultants, and other project team members on the assessment, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning solutions.
- Build robust interactive and immersive learning experiences that may include branching scenarios, immersive learning activities, application exercises, etc.
- Create visual course elements that are aesthetically pleasing (content layout, images, color palette, font) and follow sound visual design principles.
- Gather requirements, analyze, define scope, design, and develop dynamic learning experiences that enhance retention and transfer of knowledge, including asynchronous, blended, virtual synchronous, and in-person experiences.
- Collaborate and build relationships with subject matter experts to identify target audience's learning needs and outcomes.
- Manage timelines, expectations, and deliverables with internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Adhere to course maintenance schedules for new builds, revamps, and refreshes to include: KPIs, timelines, milestones, and interactions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance instructional design approaches.
- Three years of experience applying adult learning and design best practices to develop engaging and effective learning resources.
- Must have experience with LXP, LCMS and LMS platforms.
- Proficiency in MS Office products and proficient with rapid development authoring tools.
- Knowledge of incorporating multimedia elements (audio, video, and graphics) into blended learning solutions.
- Clinical Background a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, learning and development, learning technologies, or comparable field.
