Can you please confirm your top 3 skills sets required?
    C# programming (Java is similar and should be transferable)
  2. knowledge of Data Transfer protocols, most of the work is implementing the interface specification and converting data to bytes
  3. WPF application design, we use WPF for our applications so knowledge here would be nice
Can you please confirm the 3 main responsibilities/day to day activities required for this role?
    Creating local windows applications used to communicate with devices by internal groups
  2. Supporting users of our tools, debug issues, etc.
  3. NPSW verification / validation
What is your target years of experience?  4-10 years of programming experience, preferably in the medical device space or other regulated industries



As an R&D Software Tools Engineer, you will work closely with internal cross-functional teams to support Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health therapy projects. We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, Senior .NET Developer with proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining development support tools, particularly in the medical device industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C# and C++ application development languages, client-side software development, and full-stack Windows development. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong leadership qualities to lead architecture discussions, conduct code reviews, and provide strategic guidance. 
 
  • Proven experience in the design, development, and maintenance of .NET applications (C#) preferably in the medical device industry 
  • Application development experience (C++) 
  • Client side software development experience 
  • Full stack Windows developer  
  • Understand stakeholder needs and translate into technical requirements 
  • Lead architecture discussions and code reviews 
  • Provide leadership for prioritization and strategy decisions 
  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of working experience or advanced degree with 2+ years of working experience in Software Engineering or related field 
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills 
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills 
  • Ability to accomplish work with little direction 
  • Ability to manage priorities between multiple projects, as well as user support
