General Description: This is a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the discovery and development of innovative drug therapies for the treatment of cancer. We are seeking a Project Manager (Contract) reporting into the Global Technology Solutions (GTS) Project Management Office (PMO) to lead planning, coordination, execution and tracking for successful deployment of global SAP project.

This role will be responsible for managing the SAP S4Hana upgrade project in collaboration with the system integrator project manager. The project manager will be responsible to effectively managing the execution of the SAP Upgrade project plan.

The role includes project leadership, governance, issue risk management, SI resource management. The company's business resource management, activity tracking and stakeholder management. The project manager will report to executive and project leadership. The project manager will have experience with SAP S4Hana, SAP Upgrade process and associated methodology, GxP Compliance, Life science industry and CFR part 11 Computer system Validation Process

Essential Functions of the job: Project Delivery
  • In collaboration with the SI project manager and regional lead:
  • Lead end-to-end the SAP S4Hana Upgrade project, from planning and scoping to execution and delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and timeline.
  • Collaborate with both business ent technical team to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between business and technical team, facilitate workshops, meetings and discussion as needed.
  • Develop detailed project plan encompassing company business team activites, integrated with technical team activities.
  • Track activities related to Upgrade Impact, Analysis and Remediation.
  • Confirm and execute detailed test plan for Unit, Integration and Regression testing.
  • Support and track CSV process for GXP process remediation and testing.
  • Orchestrate and manage the testing of SAP integration with third party system in scope for the upgrade.
  • Prepare and present detailed project report and status according to governance structure and report requirement. Highlight key achievement, challenges, risk and recommendation.
  • Manage RAID report and drive issue to resolution.
  • Track consultant activities (Timesheet and T&E report) and support project budget tracking ( Budget vs actual).
  • Coordinate Support cutover planning and execution with the business team

Qualifications:

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in information systems or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  •  Ten + years direct experience delivering medium to large-scale, enterprise-level technology projects and programs.
  •  Experience with SAP S4Hana
  •  Experience with SAP Upgrade and Upgrade methodology and toolset ( 2 Upgrade projects minimum)
  •  Experience in Lifescience industry
  •  Experience with CFR Part 11 CSV process
  •  People management, cross-cultural and cross-functional team leadership skills.
  •  Strong communication skills, including the ability to articulate results and recommendations of analysis to a variety of audiences within the organization (e.g., laterally across peers, and upward to Senior Management).
  •  Ability to effectively adapt, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure and agile environment through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  •  Highly organized, self-motivated, and directed.
  •  SAP project Methodology, PMP, Agile, and/or ITIL certifications preferred.
  •  Exposure to core biotech/pharmaceutical software applications preferred. 
  • Experience with Change Management, Impact Assessment, and Communication Plan

Computer Skills: Must be highly proficient with business standard project management applications (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet), flow chart applications (e.g., MS Visio, Lucid chart) and standard office applications (e.g., MS Word, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint).
