Remote Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description
- Design, develop, deploy, and manage automated CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, continuous delivery of features and updates.
- Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS (with flexibility to leverage Azure when needed) and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Work closely with application development teams to seamlessly integrate DevOps processes with business applications, ensuring operational excellence and rapid troubleshooting.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack, AWS CloudWatch) to continuously assess system performance, ensure high availability, and optimize resource usage.
- Work closely with Global Security Team to enforce infrastructure security best practices, manage authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML), and ensure compliance with data protection and industry regulatory standards.
- Keep abreast of emerging DevOps trends, tools, and methodologies to continually innovate and enhance system capabilities and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 8 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or a related role.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), with hands-on experience in deploying and managing containerized applications.
- Strong proficiency in scripting and programming (e.g., .NET, Python, Java) for developing infrastructure automation tools.
- In-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure monitoring, logging tools, and performance optimization.
- Solid knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards relevant to cloud and infrastructure environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with tools and protocols such as Docker, Kubernetes, OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
- Familiarity with compliance in biopharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
