Research Associate, Cancer Immunology - Contractor
As a key member of our dynamic Cancer Immunology team, you will have proven expertise in:

Tissue culture of multiple cancer cell lines simultaneously to support experimental efforts.

Experience in immune cell culture and functional assays, such as T cell proliferation, suppression, killing, antigen presentation, and/or phagocytosis assays to support target identification and validation efforts.

Flow cytometry, including cell staining, processing, and data analysis.

Ex vivo experiments, including murine tissue collection, dissociation, and processing for downstream applications.

Data analysis and lab note documentation.

Work independently and collaboratively with team members.

Participate in routine lab and equipment maintenance.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

Excellent team member, collaborator, and communicator

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Science with 3+ years of experience in a cell biology/cellular assay development role. Title will be adjusted according to experience.

Deep expertise with mammalian cell culture across various cell types (primary and immortalized) and growth conditions. Demonstrated experience handling (maintaining, passaging, plating) multiple cell lines at once.

Immuno-oncology-related in vitro assays experience.

Hands-on experience with a wide range of cellular assay techniques (including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, MSD, qPCR) suitable for target identification and/or compound characterization.

Highly organized and excellent record keeping skills.

Innovative, proactive team-players with high energy who will thrive in our fast-paced drug discovery and development environment.
Preferred Skills:
-
Demonstrated proficiency with relevant assay readout technologies (e.g., CellTiter-Glo, AlphaLISA, MSD).

Experience with automation (e.g., robotic liquid handlers, cell seeders, etc.)

Familiarity with data processing, curve fitting, and visualization tools to analyze small and large datasets (e.g., GraphPad Prism, Genedata Screener, D360, or Spotfire).
