Job Description
Target PR Range: 34-44/hr
*Depending on experience
Overall: Support in-house sample analysis, functional characterization and assay development activities. Perform routine sample analysis supporting comparability and formulation robustness studies, participant cell-based assay development, optimization, and qualification.
Education & Experience Requirements:
BS or MS degree in a relevant scientific discipline (no Phd candidates)
Minimum 3 years experience
Essential Duties:
Perform cell-based and flow cytometry analysis to support late-stage biologics projects.
Plans and executes assigned experiments that support assay development activities and project goals.
Proactively seeks out senior personnel to discuss potential solutions to problems. Participates in group meetings to share test results.
Demonstrates ability to recognize anomalous and inconsistent results and interpret experimental outcomes.
Develops skills in data analysis and ability to evaluate quality of data.
Operates scientific equipment, selects appropriate methods and techniques to perform experiments, and prepare related reports.
Plan and organize details of experiments with guidance.
Basic understanding of cell-based methods.
Experience with cell-based assays and flow cytometry analysis and perform routine maintenance of these instruments.
Develop flow cytometry, flow imaging assays, and explore new technologies and methodology for viral vector characterization and help develop a robust process for vector production.
Responsible for data analysis using Softmax pro software and graphic display of data using Excel and Power Point presentation formats.
Demonstrate good verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills to provide insight into the processes used to achieve results of assigned tasks.
Be able to work in a fast-paced and highly collaborative working environment.
