Job Description
Pay rate range: $37-45/hr
Seeking a highly motivated and energetic DMPK team member. The selected candidate will conduct the lab-based evaluation of ADME/PK properties of proprietary compounds, by developing and performing ADME assays and LCMS quantitative analysis with required training, playing an active part in our drug discovery and development efforts. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform biological sample preparation and LC/MS-based quantitative analysis to support studies with discovery and development candidates • Collect, analyze, summarize, upload to internal databases and report high quality data in a timely manner • Identify, troubleshoot and communicate on issues arising while performing regular duties • Help with formulation preparation as needed • Conduct in vitro assays, such as metabolic stability, and plasma protein binding (No prior experience required) • Participate in maintaining laboratory equipment and actively engage in safe and efficient of laboratory operations • Collaborate with team members from multiple functional areas • Participate in project and PK team meetings EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: • Knowledge of and experience with standard biological sample preparation • Experience with LCMS-based quantitative analysis (small molecules)
Basic understanding of ADME/PK concepts and principles • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, drive and attention to details • Ability to work with limited oversight to develop and trouble-shoot assays while delivering high quality data in a fast-paced environment • Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit and demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, interacting with members of various levels • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent in a scientifically related discipline with at least 2 years of industry experience • Ability to work in the US
