Job Description
The Molecular Biology Department is seeking a Research Associate to assist with the development and optimization of our nucleic acid therapeutics including the companys individualized Neoantigen Specific immunotherapy (iNeST) platform. Duties
The successful applicant will be responsible for the design, generation, archiving, and distribution of RNA-based reagents to support fast-paced, pre-clinical studies. The candidate is expected to adapt to evolving project needs and work effectively in both independent and team based research environments. Meticulous record keeping and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate across a cross-functional team.
Skills
- Strongest consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in molecular cloning, nucleic acid chemistry, in vitro transcription, mRNA analytics, protein expression analysis, and basic cell culture.
- Ideal candidates will also have a firm understanding of immunology, manipulation of immune cells, and molecular biology/data analysis software (Benchling, SnapGene, DNAStar, Microsoft Excel macros, etc).
Experience
- A self-motivated, detail-oriented candidate with a Bachelors or Masters degree in a Molecular biology-related field with 2+ years of laboratory research experience.
Target Pay Rate Range: $20-35/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience
