We have an opening for a talented Research Associate I to join our team in the South San Francisco site. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting pharmacological characterization of biologics in the therapeutic areas of Cancer Immunotherapy, Autoimmune diseases and Inflammation. More specifically, the individual will develop, validate and execute high-throughput biochemical and cell-based functional assays to screen and characterize antibody therapeutics. In addition, the individual will be expected to assist in the implementation of robust and high throughput sample preparation using automation as well as data analysis workflows for assays.
Who you are:
- BS/MS degree in a relevant field (immunology, biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology).
- Hands-on experience in biotechnology or academic labs.
- Proven expertise in mammalian cell culture is a must.
- Past immunology working experiences in primary immune cell isolation, immunophenotyping by flow cytometry are highly desired.
- Attention to details and ability of multitasking.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Clear oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong collaborative skills and enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary project team environment.
Pay Rate Range: $30-40/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
