This section focuses on the main purpose of the job in one to four sentences. Effectively contribute basic technical knowledge and skills to a variety of projects within relevant discipline. Interact effectively with a variety of disciplines. Conduct routine research and design experiments with some assistance. This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of this role that account for 5% or more of the work. The incumbent will perform other duties assigned. 1. Contribute routine scientific knowledge or expertise to research and development activities for achievement of project goals and solve routine experimental design or research problems with some assistance. (Routine knowledge implies a solid understanding of technical field or administrative functions.) 2. Under direction, conduct routine research and/or developmental activities. Plan details of assigned tasks within specific parameters. Organize data and prepare relevant QSR documentation for assigned projects. Write and issue reports with minimal guidance. 3. Understand and apply applicable corporate and divisional SOPs. Maintain knowledge of relevant QSR and safety requirements. 4. Employ appropriate techniques and methods to successfully conduct specific assignments within negotiated deadlines after receiving general instruction. 5. Demonstrate working knowledge of basic technical theories and principles within area of expertise for routine tasks. 6. In addition to having an in-depth knowledge and understanding of GxP and related regulations and guidance, is able to provide expert insights into such regulations so as to facilitate efficient product registration and/or is an active participant in the generation, review, adoption and interpretation of such regulations. 7. Assess feasibility of simple research and design concepts within area of expertise. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The position requires relevant laboratory skills, writing skills, and computer skills plus teamwork/interpersonal skills. Include the education and experience that is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline. Research lab experience in GMP/QSR environment is useful.
