he Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) Department is looking for a highly motivated individual to assist in in- vitro DMPK assays such as metabolic stability and drug protein binding to support drug discovery process. Primary responsibilities include conducting in vitro assays, performing LC-MS/MS analysis, analyzing and reporting experimental data under minimal supervisions.
Your Profile
- Qualified candidates should possess a B.A./B.S. or M.S. degree in chemistry/biological sciences or related discipline with 0-3 years of research experience.
- Hands-on bench experience is required.
- Experience in LC-MS/MS analysis is desired.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in analysis of peptides and nucleic acids.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to present data in a group setting are highly desirable.
- The successful candidate must be detail oriented, highly organized, and independent.
- The person must be able to work in a team environment, collaborate with multiple researchers on various aspects of the research projects, and meet timelines efficiently and productively.

The Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) department is dedicated to enabling the discovery, development and commercialization of safe and effective medicines by elucidating the absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion (ADME) and pharmacokinetic (PK) properties of small molecule drug candidates from very early-stage research to NDA. We effectively collaborate in the development of safe and efficacious life-changing therapeutics for patients with a sense of urgency. The DMPK group works in close partnership with disciplines such as medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, informatics, pharmacology, toxicology, pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacology and regulatory to discovery and optimize lead compounds, select clinical candidates, conduct preclinical development studies, support clinical evaluation and contribute to IND and NDA filings.
Pay Rate Range: $20-34/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
