Job Description
We are searching for an immunology pharmacologist who is responsible for in vitro experiments independently and designing in vivo studies. In addition, the candidate will manage the lab including restocking and ordering supplies and equipment maintenance. The position is within the Discovery Accelerator at AIM office, and will be based in Cambridge MA.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and apply multiple preclinical in vitro study such as cell-based assays, protein interaction, ELISA, Flow cytometry, RNA extraction, qPCR, DNA work, and protein purification to evaluate immune function with novel therapeutics.
Manage independently design and carry out experiments, troubleshoot problems, analyze and interpret data, and communicate findings.
Manage and organize the lab including restocking and ordering supplies and equipment maintenance. Maintain accurate records experimental data. Designing in vivo study of disease model to evaluate therapeutics
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Cell-based assay Experience of the assay using PBMC Developing in vitro pharmacology assay system to evaluate therapeutics
Experience of immunology assay such as ELISA, FACS. Deep understanding of Immune-related disease Experience of mRNA handling and qPCR results analysis Experience of in vivo disease model
