Job Description
Target PR Range: 19-24/hr
*Depending one experience
M-F 8-5
Performs laboratory testing and uses scientific education and experiences to generate results in accordance with good manufacturing practices, procedural requirements,and scientific principles. Interprets reviews, verifies, approves, and releases data generated by others to determine conformance with product specifications.
Responsibilities:
List up to 10 main responsibilities for the job. Include information about the accountability and scope.
Understands, implements, and maintains a safe work environment and goodmanufacturing practices with respect to procedural requirements and laboratoryrecords and requirements.
Maintains training certifi cates as needed for assigned job tasks.
Performs analytical or microbial test methods and data verifi cation of lab resultsto support product and material release with minimal error.
Interprets experimental data for conformance with product and materialspecifi cations.
Initiates appropriate exception documents in accordance with proceduralrequirements.
Accepts responsibility for acquiring knowledge and experience to supportcontinual personal development.
Can work in multiple laboratory functional areas as assigned and can eff ectivelyperform a multitude of laboratory techniques for which they are trained on withminimal error and the ability to adjust to unforeseen obstacles to accomplishassignments.
Budget time eff ectively to carry out assigned tasks and takes initiative to beinvolved in team activities and decision making.
Makes suggestions for improvement based upon scientifi c and goodmanufacturing practices understanding.
Works with others to maintain a positive atmosphere to accomplish businessobjectives and is an active participant in the work structure and fosters positive
Qualifications:
List required and preferred qualifications (up to 10). Include education, skills and experience.
Bachelor’s Degree minimally required, Associate’s Degree with at least 2 years of
lab experience, High School Diploma with at least 5 years of directly related lab
experience.
Ability to effectively manage their own time to multi-task based upon their
completed training matrix.
Accountable to supervisor and assigned teams to meet broader business
objectives.
