Job Description


Duties:
  • Execute lab work at a high level for new therapeutic modalities (e.g., peptides, oligonucleotides, virus, antibodies, non-viral delivery systems, etc.).
  • Lead in implementing experimental studies to build product and process knowledge.
  • Initiate and complete routine laboratory procedures independently and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and experiments effectively; solve scientific problems independently; operate lab equipment and oversee maintenance.
  • Design and execute non-routine experiments with minimal supervision.
  • Contribute to lab organization, reagent tracking, and other tasks as needed.
  • Present scientific findings independently in project team or department meetings.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams/initiatives.
  • Write protocols, SOPs, and technical reports independently, following company policies.
  • Apply basic scientific principles and technology independently; perform literature searches and stay updated on relevant literature.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data with high integrity and ethics; communicate work effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Write protocols, procedures, and technical documents; provide input for scientific reports.
  • Understand relevant regulations, legal requirements, and company policies; apply this knowledge to ensure safe and compliant practices, manage risks, and maximize project success.

Skills:
  • Experience with wet chemistry preparation methods, including buffers, mobile phases, and multi-component formulation preparation.
  • Experience with traditional chromatography methods such as all modes of HPLC, Field Flow Fractionation (FFF/AF4), and SEC.
  • Ability to plan and conduct laboratory experiments, evaluate, interpret, and report technical data.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with NMR spectroscopy analysis (a plus).
  • Experience with sub-micron particle sizing methodologies such as DLS or Flow Cam (a plus).
  • Experience with fluorescent labeling, microscopy, and/or image analysis (a plus).
  • Experience with biophysical testing (e.g., DNA/RNA isolation, electrophoresis, PCR) (a plus).

Education:
  • Master’s Degree with 3+ years of experience in a related field, or Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in a related field.











Pay Rate Range: $25-40/hr depending on experience
