Job Description
Target PR Range: 19-25/hr

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, execute, and optimize in vitro functional assays with imaging-related readouts in cell lines and primary cell models
• Perform CRISPR/Cas9 functional genomics research using high content imaging assays
• Develop, implement, and document new experimental protocols/techniques
• Participate in cross-functional target identification and validation projects to support early drug discovery efforts in immunology and neuroscience
• Collaborate with scientists across diverse functional and therapeutic areas in a matrixed research environment
• Communicate and present project designs and results clearly, both to individual stakeholders and in group settings
Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree or PhD (preferred) in Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, or a related discipline
• Experience in fluorescence microscopy and image analysis required
• Image-based phenotypic screening experience is highly desirable
• Proficiency in in vitro cell culture required
• Experience in transfection, nucleofection, and lentiviral transduction is desirable
• Flow cytometry experience desirable
• Ability to learn new skills and apply them in a fast-paced research environment is a must
• Problem-solving and detailed communication skills required
