What You Will Do:
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be a part of the Therapeutic Discovery organization joining the Lead Discovery and Characterization Department in support of small molecule drug discovery pipeline.
• Optimize and perform routine cell-based assays to support lead identification and mechanism-of-action studies in the development of new therapeutic agents
• Semi-independently plan and implement experiments, adapt readily to changing project needs and develop sophisticated problem-identification and problem resolution skills
• Maintain proficiency with the latest scientific literature and rationale surrounding drug targets and be an active contributor to the interpretation of results in group discussions
• Show excellent collaboration and communication skills as this role requires an ability to work closely with other scientists in the group and across
• Adherence to good laboratory conduct, documentation practices, and safety guidelines

Basic Qualifications:
• Ph.D. degree training in cell and/or molecular biology or closely related field
Or
• Master's degree and 2+ years relevant experience
Or
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a biopharmaceutical setting and desire to work in cross-functional environments
• Track record of developing, implementing, and performing cell-based screening assays in microtiter plates to support early drug discovery research
• Experience and understanding in methods for the analysis of cells (live-cell imaging, flow cytometry), proteins (HTRF, MSD, ELISA, western blot), and RNA (RT-qPCR, NGS)
• Subject-matter expertise in induced-proximity therapeutics, targeted protein degradation, or the ubiquitin-proteasome system
• Excellent time management skills and ability to establish priorities and meet timelines
• Familiarity with software and statistical platforms for data analysis (GraphPad Prism, R)
