Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly motivated individual at the RA II or Sr. Research Associate level within the NDCP function (Non-clinical Development and Clinical Pharmacology). This role will serve as a key contributor in DMPK laboratory conducting LC-MS based quantitative bioanalysis. This position is for a temporary contractor with potential to convert to a full-time position.
The Opportunity:

Develop LC-MS/MS methods and analyze in vitro and in vivo samples to support ADME, pharmacokinetic, and toxicokinetic studies.

Perform data analysis, provide reports of experimental results, and upload data to electronic system and electronic notebook.

Conduct in vitro metabolic stability studies in bio-matrices, including hepatocytes, microsomes, blood, plasma, etc.

Perform in vitro ADME/DMPK assays, such as CYP inhibition, metabolic profiling, etc.

Assist in the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of LC-MS/MS instrument.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
-
Bachelor or master degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related scientific discipline, with 3+ years of industry experiences.

Hands-on experiences in operating and maintaining an LC-MS/MS system

Hands-on experiences in LC-MS/MS method development and bioanalytical analysis

Knowledge of biological sample preparation and extraction techniques for downstream LC-MS/MS analysis

Hands-on experience in HPLC/UPLC method development

Ability to conduct multiple laboratory and project tasks efficiently

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with flexibility

Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent record keeping skills, and adapt to a dynamic and fast paced environment
Preferred Skills, Experience and Education:
-
Previous hands-on experience in SCIEX QTRAP and/or Thermo Q Exactive mass spectrometers

Working experience in DMPK lab
