The Bioanalytical department performs method development, method validation, and sample analysis that provides analytical data in support of many stages of drug development. Intern Position Summary
The Bioanalytics group is seeking a motivated, and talented intern with an interest in pursuing a career in Life Sciences/Biotech/Pharmaceuticals. The successful candidate will be part of a cohesive team and learn and conduct analysis on biological samples in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, and SOPs.
Intern Job Responsibilities/Deliverables
- Review study-related literature and relevant regulatory guidance
- Learn and perform standard bioanalytical techniques including protein extraction isolation, ELISA.
- Maintain a clean and safe laboratory work environment
- Understand the importance of data integrity and maintain a high standard of scientific record keeping
- Analyze and interpret data and present internally to group members and to cross-functional groups
Intern Qualifications and Skills
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in life sciences
- Must have an interest in pursuing a career in Life Sciences/Biotech/Pharmaceuticals
- A team-player, self-motivated, hands on, positive, detail oriented, efficient, flexible, and high-quality work ethic are essential.
- Ability to manage workload effectively including planning, organizing, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines
